I was born and raised in the Sunshine State (Florida) and spent some of the best years of my life in the beautiful Green Mountain State of Vermont while pursuing my Master’s Degree.

After graduating high school, I was pursing a degree in psychology in order to perform psychotherapy when my family experienced an unexpected tragedy. Afterwards, I changed my career path to nursing and obtained my ASN from Rasmussen College in Ocala, FL. I’ve worked both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health and, most recently, critical care at the University of Vermont Medical Center. During this time, I was able to work full-time and complete my clinical rotations with wonderful practitioners throughout Vermont! I found “my people” who taught me that true empathy and compassion is necessary to work in mental health. I strive to provide clients with space to feel comfortable and safe. I want clients to know that they are in control of their care and I am only a resource to provide clinical knowledge to help them make informed decisions.

I have recently moved back to Florida (hopefully temporarily) to be close to my family which includes my amazing mother and two siblings. I have the most adorable Goldendoodle named Henry who keeps me busy and laughing! I enjoy spending time with my family, farmer’s markets, true crime documentaries, and refinishing furniture.
