Kyleigh is a born-and-raised rural Vermonter turned nurse practitioner who believes in the power of quality mental health care.
Kyleigh is a Vermonter from a small town near the Canadian border. After leaving the Green Mountains to attend college in New Hampshire, she returned home following graduation and hasn’t looked back since. She is proud to live and work in a rural community that shaped her values and passion for accessible, compassionate care.
She lives with her husband, their two daughters, and a lively mix of one goldendoodle, 14 chickens, and one porch goose. At home, you can usually find her leaning into all things cozy, curled up with a good book (especially thrillers, romances, or mysteries) or spending time with her family and crafting with her daughters.
Kyleigh began her career in healthcare as a registered nurse in 2019, with experience spanning inpatient medical-surgical care, hematology/oncology, and rural primary care with a focus on complex care management. These experiences deepened her understanding of the connection between physical and mental health and ultimately led her to pursue advanced training in psychiatry. Notably, her love for medicine and nursing began as a young child with probably one too many episodes of Dr. G - Medical Examiner and Untold Stories Of The ER, once her parents were asleep for the night.
Kyleigh welcomes the opportunity to work with individuals at all stages of life experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. Kyleigh is known for her warm, open, and approachable style, and she places a strong emphasis on building genuine, trusting relationships with her patients. She believes that humor, authenticity, and a collaborative approach are essential components of meaningful care, and she strives to create a space where patients feel safe, heard, and supported.
