Jenny lives in Vermont with her young daughter, Irish setter puppy, and the most patient cat in the universe. She loves getting out in nature (when it’s not black fly season) and witnessing her daughter discover her own love of the outdoors in the local mountains.

Before becoming a nurse in 2015, Jenny lived a fast-paced life of adventure from being a surfer on Vancouver Island, Canada, to climbing glaciated peaks in the Pacific Northwest and South America, traveling to generally less traveled countries, and working on a very busy rural ambulance as an EMT. Nursing was a natural calling and while Jenny thrived in the chaos of child and adult critical care departments on the West Coast, she recognized what she loved most in her role were the connections she forged with her patients and their families and being able to walk with them daily through their often-heavy journeys which lead her to her true passion as a psychiatric provider.

As an avid outdoorswoman, pandemic mother, and single parent, Jenny is no stranger to finding oneself somewhere they thought they’d never be and needing to find a way up and out of tricky spots. Jenny approaches her mental health practice with equal parts compassion and conviction for her patients, honoring the space they’re presently in while also believing fiercely in their capacity to facilitate change and growth in their lives when given the support and tools.

As a clinician, it’s incredibly important to Jenny that her patients feel she is authentically present for them as individuals and that they feel empowered and informed at every step of their care journey. Jenny has a special interest in working with children, adolescents, domestic violence and trauma survivors, first responders/healthcare workers, patients with new or chronic illness, and those experiencing expected or unexpected life changes or transitions.
