Courtney is an Addison County native… a born and raised multi-generational Vermonter.

Family first! Courtney is one of 7 children, she has a dozen nieces and nephews, and second to “Mom,” “Auntie” is her next favorite title. Living in Shoreham with her husband two kids, and two dogs, Courtney loves to bake, garden, travel and explore new places, and keep her hands busy in projects. She has nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare management, and has worked in the pharmaceutical, dental, and mental health industries.

Courtney has followed her heart in life. She married her high school sweetheart and went into the healthcare field because she wanted to make a difference for people. She is an empath and cares deeply for others. She wouldn’t want you to know it, but she’s wicked funny and makes really amazing, crafty, thoughtful presents for people. She is our rock at this Long Trail Psychiatry. She ensures that we maintain work-life balance. She grounds us when we are spiraling, and she lifts us up when are feeling down. She works incredibly hard (at both of her jobs) and always tolerates Lauren’s running list of new “projects.” We could not do this work without her, and we are SO grateful for her kindness, compassion, humor, selflessness, diligence, creativity…thank you, Courtney!

Personal Achievements

  • Became a certified immunizer during the pandemic so she could make a difference in Vermont communities. She vaccinated thousands of Vermonters all over the state!

  • Took an accelerated junior year of high school to graduate early. Her intention was to graduate early… but the universe had other plans (#teenmom)!

  • Played competitive soccer for many years and had the opportunity to play with a premier team and travel all over New England and Canada. She was also a competitive swimmer for nearly ten years. While she no longer participates in organized sports, she’s still as competitive as ever in anything she does!!!

  • Raised 2 amazing kids, which has been the greatest accomplishment and joy of her life.
